Artist's Comments

Those of you who know me, might've seen this one coming, sooner or later. Some of you have also seen a sneak preview of it. Here it is, finalized.

A4 90gr/m2 paper
Pencils used: 6b, 4b, 2b, HB, 5h, 6h, 9h, as well as a black coloring pencil.
The reference picture was the one of John in the By The Way booklet. Will find it somewhere and link.

Apologize for the quality of the "scan", taken with my camera, as usual.

(31/01/2007): replaced the photography of the drawing with a scan, yayness :)

Really good, though I'm not sure about the background but I guess you used what was in the booklet? I used to sketch when I was younger, I start feeling like doing it again when seing this.

Yup, I used the background from the original photo as well. Think I'm going to lighten the background up a bit, and then try to get a better photo of the drawing, without using the flash and having to perform auto-color-adjust in PS. The paper is actually cream-colored.

Well, from what I recall, about two years ago, you were quite good at it too :) So, pick up a pen, boy, what have you got to lose?
